Shift work refers to a work schedule that is outside of the usual 9 to 5 hours. For some, that might mean night shifts, for others early morning or rotating shifts. Whether you’ve just changed to a shift schedule or you’ve been doing it for an extended amount of time, shift work can be a challenge. But know you are not alone and that it’s possible to enjoy some advantages of shift work and have good life balance. This course will talk about the necessary adjustments you can make to make shift work successful as well as the many benefits it may bring. You’ll learn about practical ways to care for your wellbeing, connect with others and get good sleep. We’ll also review a relaxation exercise and resources to help you feel centered.
